Nicolo’s Bakery & Deli has been a Montclair staple since 1967. Founded by Nicolo Zecchino “Nick the Baker” Nicolo’s began as a neighborhood bakery. Now a full-scale bakery and deli, Nicolo’s is owned and operated on Baldwin Street by Nick’s family.
We bake fresh bread daily using the same methods Nick learned as a young baker. Our recipes have been passed down for generations, allowing our customers to enjoy the same great products that our family has been serving for all these years. What you get is simple: quality Italian bread, artisanal sandwiches, pastries, sauces, and prepared foods made with care.
In addition to our normal bakery and deli offerings, we are happy to offer extensive catering services and wholesale bread for some of the best restaurants, delis, and pizzerias in North Jersey.
Whether you’re picking up a sandwich, catering for a party, or stocking your restaurant’s bread basket, we offer honest food made from fine ingredients and family tradition.

Wholesale
Nicolo’s supplies a wide variety of handmade, hearth-baked breads for the wholesale marketplace in northern New Jersey, primarily in Essex County. Featuring authentic Italian loaves of bread, Nicolo’s serves current and new wholesale customers with the highest quality baked bread.
As wholesale bakers, we work seven days a week. Our customers include pizzerias, restaurants, caterers, coffee shops, and delicatessens in and around Essex County, New Jersey.
